College Tours

Starting in 9th grade and continuing throughout high school, students embark on College Day advisory visits and grade-level road trips that open doors to a diverse array of institutions. Our robust program includes visits to prestigious colleges across California and exciting out-of-state destinations like Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, and New York City.

During these tours, students engage with HTH alumni, attend college lectures, experience campus dining, explore academic majors, tour dormitories, and gain invaluable insights into student life. These immersive experiences are fully accessible to all students, thanks to generous family donations, school funding, and philanthropic support.

At HTH, we embrace this insight by ensuring every student participates in an average of seven college campus visits by their senior year, making campus tours a signature experience within our college-going culture.

Our college tours allow students to develop a deep understanding of what different campuses offer. By experiencing a variety of environments—whether they prefer the bustling energy of an urban setting or the close-knit community of a smaller school—students gain clarity on their personal preferences and priorities. This comprehensive exposure enables them to confidently answer critical questions such as, "Do I want a big school or a small school?" and "Do I thrive in an urban location or prefer a quieter setting?"
