High Tech High offers three options for students to take college courses while in high school:
Dual Enrollment
CCAP (College and Career Access Pathways)
Concurrent Enrollment
High Tech High's dual enrollment program offers students a transformative opportunity to jumpstart their college journey while still in high school. Through robust partnerships with the University of San Diego and the San Diego Community College District, over forty percent of HTH graduates gain firsthand experience in college-level coursework before graduation. Students have access to a wide range of courses tailored to their interests and goals. Humanities options include subjects such as Psychology, English, Business and College Success, while STEM offerings include advanced course work in Math.
CCAP (College and Career Access Pathways) is a dual enrollment program that allows our High Tech High students to take college-level courses exclusively with other High Tech High students, earning college credit. The tuition for these courses is free for HTH students.
Students may also take concurrent enrollment courses at San Diego Mesa College, City College, or Miramar College. You can take any course that fits with your high school schedule and in which you meet the required prerequisites. These courses can be taken during the school year (fall or spring) or over the summer. The tuition for these classes is free for all HTH students! Directions for Concurrent Enrollment HERE.
